Returns
Returns & Claims
Applies to wholesale orders placed by appointed dealers
Who can return
Returns run through the dealer who bought the goods. If you are a rider with a warranty question, start with the shop you bought from — they raise the claim with us, and that keeps the paperwork and the credit in one place.
Open a claim in the portal
A dealer opens a claim against the order line in question, states the quantity affected, and attaches evidence — photographs of the part and, for a defect, enough detail to see what failed. Claims are worked from the portal so the dealer can see where one has got to.
Authorization before anything ships
We review the claim and, if authorized, issue an RMA number and tell the dealer which warehouse to return to. Nothing should be sent back before that: an unannounced parcel cannot be matched to a claim, and it delays the credit. The dealer pays the return freight on every return, whatever the reason for it.
Authorization and remedy are two decisions
An RMA number is permission to send an item back as instructed. It is not itself a decision on the claim: coverage and the remedy are determined separately, and a return being authorized does not guarantee a refund, replacement, or credit. Where we do credit a claim, the credit memo is issued once the returned parts have arrived and been counted, and covers the parts that came back. Where there is nothing to send back — items that never arrived, or a part we decide is not worth returning — the credit follows the approval instead. Returns can arrive in batches, and the claim stays open until the authorized quantity is accounted for.
Non-defective returns
Goods ordered in error or no longer needed may be returned within thirty days of delivery, against the order line they came from, in resalable condition and original packaging. That window runs from delivery rather than dispatch — transit time is not the dealer's to lose. A restocking fee applies, and as with every return the dealer pays the freight.
What we cannot take back
Parts that have been installed, modified, or damaged in fitting are not non-defective returns, though they may still be a warranty claim. Products discontinued or superseded may be handled differently; the authorization will say.
